In short

Pave Direct delivers paving free across mainland UK with no minimum spend — order one slab or a full pallet, delivery costs nothing. Standard delivery arrives in 3–5 working days, kerbside on a pallet. Need a set date? Nominated-day is £39, Saturday £69. And every pallet is backed by our breakage guarantee: if it arrives broken, we replace it free.

Getting a pallet of stone to your door is the part most paving suppliers quietly get wrong — hidden delivery fees, all-day waits, and a shrug if a corner turns up cracked. We've built our delivery around the opposite: a genuinely free standard service, dates you actually choose, and a written promise that your paving arrives whole.

What's included on every order

Four promises, on every pallet

Free UK delivery — no minimum spend

£0 delivery, always. Every order is delivered free to mainland UK addresses, whether you order a single slab or forty. Paving is palletised and delivered kerbside within 3–5 working days of dispatch. No small print, no "orders over £X" threshold.

Choose your delivery date

Standard delivery gives a 3–5 working-day window. Upgrade at checkout: Nominated-day delivery for £39 pins your pallet to a specific weekday, and Saturday delivery is £69 for when weekdays don't work. You'll get a text with your delivery window on the day.

Breakage guarantee — in writing

We pack every pallet properly and back it with a written guarantee: your paving arrives whole, or we replace it free. Spot a cracked or chipped slab? Send us a photo within 48 hours and replacements are on their way — usually the same week, at no cost to you.

£0.98 samples — posted next working day

Screens lie about colour. Order a £0.98 sample of any range and see how it reads in your own garden light before you buy a full order. Posted next working day, with no obligation to order.

All deliveries are kerbside on a pallet — the driver won't carry stone through the property, so please have help on hand to move it. A handful of remote Highland & island postcodes may carry a surcharge, always shown before you pay.

Our promise on broken slabs

The breakage guarantee, in plain English

Stone is heavy, it travels hundreds of miles, and no matter how well a pallet is packed the occasional slab can chip or crack in transit. Most suppliers treat that as your problem. We don't. Our breakage guarantee is simple, written down, and designed to be fair to you.

What's covered

Any slab, coping or setts that arrives cracked, chipped on a face, or broken through in transit is covered. We replace the affected pieces free of charge and cover the delivery on the replacements. It applies to every order, on every range, with no minimum spend.

Natural stone is not flawless — and that's the point. Sandstone and limestone vary in colour, tone and surface texture from slab to slab; riven stone has an uneven, cleft face. That variation is a feature, not a fault — but a genuine crack or broken corner always is.

How to report it

  1. Check on delivery. Have a quick look at the pallet when it arrives. You can note "unchecked" if you sign before opening — it won't affect your cover.
  2. Take a photo. Snap the damaged slab (and the pallet if it's clearly been knocked) — a clear photo is all we need.
  3. Email us within 48 hours. Send the photos with your order number. No forms to fill in, no return to arrange.

How we resolve it

We aim to dispatch replacements within the same week, at no cost to you. You keep any undamaged slabs, and there's nothing to send back. If a colour has sold out we'll agree the closest match or a refund on the affected pieces with you first.

What happens after you order

1

You order & choose your date

Place your order online and pick when it arrives at checkout — standard 3–5 working days, or a nominated day / Saturday if you need certainty.

We pick & pack your pallet

Your stone is hand-checked and packed for the road — banded, corner-protected and shrink-wrapped so it arrives whole.

3

Dispatch & confirmation

The moment your pallet leaves us, you get an email with everything — your chosen date, what to expect, and how to check your delivery.

4

Tail-lift delivery to your kerbside

An 18-tonne tail-lift lorry brings your pallet to the kerb and moves it to the nearest safe hard-standing with a pump truck.

Delivery FAQ

Common delivery questions

Is paving delivery really free across the UK?

Yes. Standard delivery is free to mainland UK addresses with no minimum spend — order a single slab or a full pallet and standard delivery costs nothing. It arrives on a pallet, kerbside. A small number of remote postcodes (parts of the Scottish Highlands and the islands) may carry a surcharge, always shown at checkout before you pay.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery arrives within a few working days of dispatch — the exact estimate for your postcode is shown when you enter it above. If you need a specific day, choose Nominated-day delivery (£39) for a set weekday, or Saturday delivery (£69). Lead times are honest estimates for your area; the day you choose is booked and we dispatch to it.

Can I choose my delivery date?

Yes — that is the whole point. Enter your postcode above to see the delivery tiers your area can actually hold, then book the day that suits you: standard (free), nominated-day (£39) or Saturday (£69). If stock or depot scheduling ever means a booked date has to move, we contact you to rebook — never silently.

Which areas do you cover?

We deliver to all of mainland England, Scotland and Wales as standard. A handful of remote Highland, island and offshore postcodes carry a delivery surcharge that is calculated and shown at checkout before you commit — we never guess a rate for your area.

My pallet arrived damaged — what do I do?

Take a clear photo of any cracked, chipped or broken slabs and report it within 48 hours of delivery with your order number. Under our breakage guarantee we replace the affected slabs free or credit you — see the breakage guarantee page for the full, plain-English terms.

How much are samples?

Samples are £0.98 each and posted next working day. Order one of any porcelain or stone to see and feel it in your own garden light before you commit — a small charge that saves an expensive mistake, with no obligation to place a full order.
